Psychotherapy is challenging work, it can be a difficult path
to walk, but you’ll have company.

As children, we are molded by the world and the people around us. We adapt to this world and these people, often modelling the ways to be and to live that they have shown us. This adaptation deeply affects how we perceive ourselves and others, and informs the way we relate.

In adulthood we sometimes find that what we imagined should come naturally is elusive and often confusing, and our early imprinting can feel like a poor match to how we wish to be. Our relationships may loop repeatedly through destructive or empty patterns. We may stagnate in our careers, feeling anxious or depressed but lacking the capacity to understand why. Therapy can help provide us the tools and the ability to identify, and adjust, the ways in which our childhood imprinting can fail us now that we are adults.
