Gestalt Institute of Toronto, Year 4 completed; Graduating in 2020

I am one of a rare number of Canadian psychotherapists holding a Master’s Degree in Applied Positive Psychology (MAPP) studying under Dr. Martin Seligman at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. I am also experienced in a range of therapeutic approaches that have been shown to make a difference in everyday life. These include Positive Psychotherapy, CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), DBT ( Dialectical Behavior Therapy – a mindfulness based practice), and Gestalt/EFT (Emotionally Focussed Therapy). I am in my final year of study at the Gestalt Institute of Toronto; the program which involves five years of intensive training, personal development and work with therapy clients.

Couples Therapy is a key area of focus; have completed Gottman Levels 1 and 2.

Therapy with individuals focuses on addressing anxiety, depression, and support through transitional periods of life from youth to adulthood, third chapter, and mid-life transitions.
