Would you like to experience greater joy in you life?  Are you often feeling stuck in old relationship patterns?  I will work with you on your  with care, competence and compassion to help you uncover the power and presence that is uniquely yours to feel and to hold. You are not alone.

I am a registered Psychotherapist (Registration # 003846) and a Registered Social Worker (Registration # 823576) and have completed my fifth year of post graduate training at the Gestalt Institute of Toronto. I have a Master of Arts Degree in Counselling Psychology from OISE, University of Toronto.

I have over 15 years of experience supporting individuals, couples, children and families coping with a range of challenges including anxiety, depression, birth, abortion, pregnancy loss and postpartum adjustments, disabilities and Autism, grief, parenting struggles, sexuality, sexual abuse and family related trauma.

The work I have done personally and professionally, both in Toronto and internationally, has provided me with the opportunity to connect with many courageous people from diverse backgrounds and life circumstances. I am deeply committed to nurturing the possibility of health, respect, change and the mutuality of healing. My hope is to continue to work and live in spaces that break down walls of shame and open venues for community building and empowerment, informed decision making, deep connection and personal growth.

I use a Gestalt, Feminist, LGBTQ positive, and anti-oppression influenced approach to therapy which recognizes the power of your own lived experience in surviving the trauma and/or challenges you have faced.

I have extensive training in yoga, mindfulness meditation, narrative therapy and arts based approaches to therapy, and look forward to creating a healing relationship that makes space for the power of body awareness, story, movement and play in your healing journey. I provide support with presence, creativity and deep caring as you stretch and uncover your ability to connect with your dreams, your grief, your pain and your hope.

I am here to challenge, guide and support you as you make sense of what is most precious to you. We will work together to explore where your feelings of purpose, love, care and belonging may have become stuck; and ultimately how your deepest truths can take root and grow.
