I work primarily with adults who are trying to improve their mental health, overcome destructive behavioural patterns, make career transitions, overcome creative block, recover from anxiety, burnout or stressful life situations, and enhance relationships, in order to develop a more secure sense of self and a meaningful life. As a therapist who has gone through immigration experience, I also help my clients build bridges between the different cultures they navigate in, and to create a unique and cohesive cultural identity. I conduct therapy sessions in both English and Farsi.
I am a Psychodynamic Psychotherapist, drawing on a variety of therapeutic techniques such as CBT, Trauma work, Mindfulness, and creative arts therapy. Within a compassionate therapeutic space, clients can explore and make sense of distressing thoughts and emotions and life difficulties. Together we make short term goals and achieve lasting outcomes that work for you.
