A strong therapeutic alliance is at the core of my practice so that you can feel safe sharing what's happening for you. Together, we explore areas of your life you feel stuck in with a focus on your thoughts, feelings, sensations and behaviours. While exploring your past is important, we also bring light to the present moment that can reduce feelings of stress and anxiety while encouraging great self-compassion and acceptance.
Based on your wants and needs, I offer various mindful and creative techniques to facilitate the therapeutic process. I have found these techniques can promote self-worth and healing that could otherwise be limited through just verbal dialogue.
Currently, I work with both adults and youth at my office in Midtown Toronto. I am informed by relational and somatic psychotherapies with a foundation in trauma-informed and anti-oppressive practices that promote trust, choice, compassion and respect.
