I believe in creating a warm and comfortable environment conducive to undertaking what can be challenging psychological process. The rapport and relationship I develop with you is very important to me and is a central part of our work together. Psychoanalytic psychotherapy can help you go below the surface into a better understanding of why you think, feel and act the way you do. With understanding comes a greater freedom to live and be in your life the way you want to.

My style is open and explorative, I won't be telling you what to do but rather helping you to further understand yourself and your mind and thus be in the best position possible to make your own wise decisions. That said, at times I may offer more directive tools if useful in your healing journey. My approach is highly individualized to meet your unique needs. I focus on helping you to understand the connections between  your early life experience, current life challenges and the 'here-and-now' (what happens in the room with me) in order to give birth to something new.

I have extensive experience working with people who people who face long standing difficulties and or recent trauma. Those who experienced sexual, physical or emotional abuse in childhood, those with traits of personality disorders, experiences of psychosis and chronic depression, substance and behavioural addictions including eating disorders and many other challenges.

Creativity, love, connection and hope.
