Diploma (clinical stream) — Toronto Institute for Contemporary Psychoanalysis

Four years of post-PhD training seminars in clinical theory and practice at the Toronto Institute for Contemporary Psychoanalysis.
A total of six years of clinical supervision in therapy and analysis.
Too many years to count in personal analysis—you can’t teach people how to swim if you’ve never been in a pool!

I am in full time private practice in downtown Toronto. I work with people who, in spite of difficult circumstances, have not given up on finding meaning in their lives.

My approach is based on the principle that conflict and disstress are best dealt with when they are spoken and listened to without judgement or fear. Patience, respect, and curiosity are essential here.
