M.A. in Transpersonal Psychotherapy, Diploma in Clinical Supervision

Before I became a psychotherapist, I had a keen interest in travelling, spirituality and psychology. I often wondered what my purpose was in life and went on many adventures to find the answer to these questions. This journey, and my own personal therapy, led me to train as a psychotherapist in 1995 and I received my Diploma in Transpersonal Psychotherapy and Counselling in 1999 from the Centre for Counselling and Psychotherapy Education in London, England. In 2003, I completed a Master’s Degree in Psychotherapy and Counselling through De Montfort University and the CCPE in the U.K. I moved back to Canada in 2009.

Professionally, I have had a private practice since 1996. I have worked for many counselling services including primary schools, universities, GP offices and Family Services in both the U.K. and Canada. I am also an Associate Clinical Professor (Adjunct) at McMaster University in the Department of Family Medicine in Hamilton, Ontario. I am a Member of the Canadian Association for Psychodynamic Therapy and I am a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario, registration number 002247.
