Registered Psychotherapist

36 Madison Ave.
Toronto, Ontario

I am a registered psychotherapist with over 14 years experience working in the mental health field. I do what I can to help people from all walks of life explore, better manage, make sense of, and transform the difficulties they experience in life. Depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship struggles, and addictions are among the most common symptoms presented in my practice. I am of the opinion that most of us are usually doing the best we can with what we have, even when behavior appears to be maladaptive and chaotic. My goal is to provide you with the time and space to talk out loud, grapple with emotions (or lack thereof) and offer you choices and plans that will make you feel better about being in the world.

My practice is informed primarily by the psychodynamic method of psychotherapy, which means I am an active partner in therapy, developing a relationship, discussing issues and events that are important to you, and helping to identify contradictions and themes that may act as roadblocks to a more calm and meaningful way. I have been trained extensively and draw on a variety of therapeutic modalities to supplement the process, such as CBT, EFT, sensorimotor psychotherapy, and creative arts.
