I am a psychodynamic relational psychotherapist. I believe that you can experience a profound change in your sense of well-being if you feel heard and understood by a psychotherapist. You can learn to see your experience in new ways that feel freeing. You will find a sense of empowerment and will find hope in the safety that comes with working on relational and other issues with a psychotherapist. With clients who would like to work on childhood issues, I help them to understand how they were affected by those experiences and to change the way they have thought about and coped with them. Your problems will feel less confusing as you talk about them. Together we decide whether short or long term work is preferred.

Finding inner choice and other ways of managing living is an important part of what we do. We build on your strengths. Expressing yourself within the safety of a relationship with a caring, compassionate therapist helps you to improve your sense of self-worth. It is very powerful to feel validated and understood.
