If you are seeking therapy, let's talk.
Disruptive relationships and life events can continue to have distressing effects until they are safely supported and worked through. Our collaborative dialogue can help amplify resources and other sources of support as well as uncover ways to find relief from psychological distress or trauma.
Some questions people bring into therapy include the following: How can I find support for anxiety, stress or depression? How can I face change or crisis in my life or relationship? How do I make sense of developmental (childood/family) trauma? Why do I repeat the same thoughts and patterns? Why do I feel shame or rage? How do I cope with life-after-injury, crises or diagnosis? How do I find peace and balance?
Therapy can offer a secure base for important, authentic reflection including the understanding and integration of impulses, sensations, feeling states and survival defences; it can provide the opportunity to transform, expand, contain, heal and mature. My practice is rooted in developmental and interpersonal approaches and draws from current understandings in the fields of sensorimotor psychotherapy and traumatology. Throughout our therapeutic process, I support and encourage your courageous strivings with dignity, humanity and compassion. If you are seeking therapy, let's talk.
