Do you suffer from unbearable and overwhelming feelings such as shame, anxiety, depression, fear of going crazy, or simply feeling unsafe? Talking to a therapist & having her listen without judgement or an agenda can be transformative. Please see for a detailed description of my approach -- examples are attachment theory; trauma techniques such as working with the body to relax, & speaking to child parts/states; and Ken Wilber's spiritual & integral writings. Also, I study Buddhism and its integration with therapy; I use Buddhist mindfulness with interested clients. I pay attention to feelings and what blocks them, as well as to unconscious distorted beliefs that influence us but are out of awareness.

I have a particular interest in shame, the sense that you are defective, which then causes fear of exposing this vulnerable hidden part, and constricts expression of who you truly are. I can help you reduce feelings of shame and increase spontaneity, using trauma techniques such as mindfulness and body work.

Therapists must undergo therapy as well in order to limit blind spots (or unconscious collusion), so that you will feel safe to talk freely. I was required to undergo intensive personal and group psychotherapy before and during my training.

I also enjoy working with those of multicultural backgrounds and I have experience with Italian, Croatian, Serbian, and Asian clients.
