I'm a member of the Canadian Association for Psychodymanic Therapists (CAPT) and have 18 years of psychotherapeutic clinical experience working with individuals. My specialties are in performance anxiety, issues of self esteem, depression, anxiety, and complications related to older-age distress.

My career base has been in Arts Performance for the last 40 years. While a flautist in the Toronto Symphony Orchestra, I completed seven years as a student at the Centre for Psychotherapy (CTP), and upon graduation from CTP retired from the TSO. As an orchestral musician, I've gained a great deal of experience in the art of listening, the benefits of "team work", and the power of individual and shared expression.

Carrying this experience into my own therapy practice, I have enjoyed an on going relationship to my client's individual discovery of themselves through their own unique means of expression. Such issues as self doubt, self esteem, roadblocks to their creativity, performance anxiety, varying levels of depression, and a deep desire for more facility in self expression have made this a most rewarding process for me and - hopefully - for my clients.

Opening to "possibility", we have at times used writing, art work, dream analysis, psychodrama and drumming to better reach into the deeper and often hidden recesses of our vital unconscious.

I see the therapeutic hour as an opportunity to witness and support my clients in their desire for more self knowledge, more self acceptance, and more hope in realizing their own vision of future goals.
