Thanks for looking to me as your prospective psychotherapist. I wish it were otherwise, but suffering is intrinsic to life. However, adversity can deepen our happiness if we learn to live more consciously. What we resist, persists. What unexamined core beliefs have you living below your potential? Together, we'll challenge seemingly 'protective' self-sabotage, explore your deepest aspirations, and develop strategies against overwhelm and discouragement. Through your core values, you'll be supported in taking decisive action to live life with greater purpose and meaning.

Instead of relying upon outer authority, we will access your innate wisdom. I bring clinical and personal familiarity with issues of trauma, loss, addiction, relationship difficulties, creative blocks, family challenges, career transition, and sexuality. You can expect compassion, confidentiality, wisdom and humour as well as prompt start and end times.

I am an eclectic psychoanalyst (Jungian, ISTDP, CBT, Gestalt, EFT...) with past experience as a Waldorf teacher and teacher of gifted and behaviorally challenged youth. I have degrees in philosophy, education, psychology and comparative religion. I've studied and taught in Haida Gwaii, Vancouver, Waterloo, Guelph, Ann Arbor, MI., Sumatra, India, Tibet and Japan.

"When an inner situation is not made conscious, it happens outside, as fate." --C.G. Jung
