Do you feel that something intangible or tangible is holding you back from leading the life you want? Perhaps you are struggling with repetitive self destructive patterns such as addictions of various types, unfulfilling work, abusive relationships, sexual frustration/confusion, depression and anxiety. You may even have tried to discuss your concerns with well meaning friends but feel that you are not being heard and understood in a way that matters to you. As a result, you may find that you repeat certain behaviours that you would like to change. Your repetition is an attempt at creating something different in your life.

In our work together you begin to speak what is important and meaningful to you and in that process, be heard and understood. Together we will listen as you speak your concerns, hopes and desires. It is not always an easy process and for that we can be grateful. It is in the discomfort where you can begin to make changes that have an important effect on your life.

Psychotherapy provides an opportunity to make things different in your relationships. You talk and I listen to what is being said and as importantly, to what is not being said. It is in those implicit messages that we will look to understand. Those unsaid messages have the power for transforming your relationships. In a way, it’s like pushing the boundaries of your thought, emotions and possibilities. After some time you will begin to notice that there have been shifts, more ease and a different understanding of who you are. You will notice that the destructive repetitions are no longer the drivers of your life; they have taken a back seat.

Psychotherapy allows for the possible, in any way that you can imagine. I have worked as a psychotherapist for over fifteen years and have witnessed people changing their lives in ways that were inconceivable to them. It is an honour and a priveldge to witness such profound changes.

If you feel that you are ready to make a commitment to understanding and changing, please feel free to get in touch with me by email or by phone. I look forward to meeting you.
