New Therapy Group
John Neumin and Natalie Riback will be leading a new psychodynamic psychotherapy group, beginning January 19, 2015. This mixed group will be oriented towards men and women who are established in their own individual therapies and are seeking to deepen their continuing work with the immediacy, diversity and intensity that a group experience may provide.
Group therapy can be a meaningful complement to individual therapy. Exploring interpersonal dynamics with others in an immediate and safe environment, as well as expressing your inner thoughts, feelings, and motivations, is a catalyst for deep insight and change.
Beginning in January 2015, this medium sized (8 to 12 members) ongoing group will meet weekly (Mondays at 7:30pm) until the end of June. The fee will be $40.00 for an hour and a half session. After a short summer break, interested members may continue next year. Group meetings will be held at The Centre at 316 Dupont Street (just west of Spadina).
Note: Because of the limit on the size of this group it may be particularly well suited to someone for whom a large group might be overwhelming or intimidating, or who has particular trouble voicing their intimate thoughts and feelings.
